Kakao and NHN Dooray will participate in the "2026 Public AI Expo," the companies said Tuesday.
The Public AI Expo, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and organized by the National Information Society Agency (NIA), is a venue for introducing AI technologies and services in the public sector. It is being held over two days, from the previous day through Tuesday, at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Kakao will present various agentic AI services at an experiential booth. The booth is designed to allow visitors to directly experience the various forms of agentic AI services that have taken root in users' daily lives. The booth consists of five experience zones, including the "Kanana in KakaoTalk" zone, the "Kanana Conversation and Call Summary" zone, and the "Kakao Tools" zone. An "AI National Secretary" experience zone, which Kakao launched in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, has also been set up. AI National Secretary is a service that allows users to easily handle public facility reservations and electronic certificate issuance within KakaoTalk, and it was recently updated to be available via voice as well.
In particular, visitors can encounter the lineup of "Kanana," Kakao's in-house developed AI model, inside the booth. A unique experience zone has also been prepared where visitors can create the Kakao Friends character "Jjordy" in a photo booth event space based on the image generation model "Kanana-Kollage," and print out a "My Own Jjordy Registration Certificate." A Kakao official said, "This expo is a venue to show how Kakao's agentic AI technology can conveniently change the daily lives of citizens in the public sector," adding, "We will strive to expand our collaboration with public services, including AI National Secretary."
At the expo, NHN Dooray will introduce its all-in-one AI collaboration tool "Dooray!" to public officials and employees of administrative agencies. First, at the "AI Solution" corporate booth, it will present its "all-in-one collaboration function," which integrates projects (tasks, drive, wiki), mail, messenger, and calendar into one.
Along with this, it will introduce in an experiential demo format AI features useful for practical work such as mail summarization and draft writing, "Dooray AI," which supports multiple LLMs including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, and "Dooray AI Agent," an action-stage agent that automatically performs tasks based on integrated data within Dooray.
NHN Dooray participated in the expo to support the AX (AI transformation) of administrative agencies and local governments, which have previously had difficulty adopting SaaS (software as a service) due to institutional and technical limitations. As administrative agencies and local governments can now adopt SaaS through the PPP (public-private partnership) administrative network zone at the National Information Resources Service Daegu Center, NHN Dooray plans to officially launch Dooray based on NHN Cloud infrastructure in the second half of this year.
