More than 80% of Korean creators are actively using artificial intelligence (AI) tools in their creative work, a survey found.
Adobe revealed the findings in its "2026 Creator Toolkit Report," released Monday. The report was based on a survey of more than 16,000 creators across eight countries, including 2,000 Korean creators, as well as the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, India, and Australia.
In the survey, 92% of Korean creators said that creative AI, which assists with creative tasks such as design, image generation, and content production, has helped grow their content and expand their audience. Eighty percent of respondents said AI had become integrated into or an essential part of their workflow. Among Korean creators, 59% said creative AI had enhanced the professionalism of their creator activities.
The report noted that as AI adoption becomes more common, creator originality has grown more important. Among Korean creators who said it had become harder to attract attention than a year ago, 49% cited the vast volume of content as the cause. In addition, 42% said it had become harder for their own voice to gain attention as AI-generated content increased. Furthermore, 79% of Korean creators responded that "human judgment is essential for producing original content."
Mike Polner, Adobe's vice president of creator product marketing, said, "As creative AI adoption increases, creators who reveal a unique perspective will gain attention."
