
Raonsecure is expanding the identity and competency verification system in elementary, middle, and high school education to a digital platform.
Raonsecure, an AI security and authentication platform company, said Monday that it signed a "business agreement to jointly promote a digital certification project for elementary, middle, and high school education" with the Beautiful School Movement Headquarters and Future&More.
The core of the agreement is to integrate and manage each student's in-school and out-of-school activities and growth process as digital data, based on Raonsecure's "OmniOne Badge" and "OmniOne Digital ID." Student activities in schools are diverse, including in-school projects, volunteer work, certificate acquisition, and participation in clubs and career exploration. However, critics have pointed out that records are scattered across individual documents or systems, making them difficult to use when needed.
To address this problem, the three companies decided to integrate and accumulate students' activity histories based on digital badges and digital IDs. They further plan to establish a foundation for reliably verifying these histories during preparation for higher education or external activities. For example, various achievements—such as problem-solving skills demonstrated in school projects, community experience gained through volunteer work, and activities linked to the local community—can be issued and accumulated in the form of badges.
Raonsecure plans to use this as an opportunity to expand its university-centered employment- and recruitment-linked digital certification model into the identity and competency verification domain of elementary, middle, and high schools. "This project will be a starting point for recording students' identities and growth experiences on a Web3-based trust infrastructure in elementary, middle, and high school education while connecting them to actual use," said Kim Chang-soo, head of Raonsecure's Service Business Division. "We will continue to contribute to creating an educational environment where each student's diverse competencies are recognized fairly and reliably through Web3 technology."
