POSCO DX said Tuesday it will support employees in building not just one AI agent per person but multiple agents per person, in line with its artificial intelligence (AI) transformation. Since declaring its shift to an AI-native company last year, POSCO DX has focused on equipping all employees to use multiple agents in their work and to develop the agents they need on their own.
To this end, the company also held the "AX Hackathon 2026." A total of 188 participants across 75 teams took part in the event. The grand prize went to team "PIXEL," which built an AI-based screen design automation platform. Winners receive prizes along with the opportunity to attend a global AI conference abroad. The aim goes beyond simple awards, seeking to develop experts who will lead AI innovation by experiencing the latest global AI trends firsthand. AI agents selected as top entries will be advanced and launched as official services.
In addition, POSCO DX has been running an "AX Academy Program" starting this year to strengthen employees' AI capabilities. The program is structured to allow step-by-step learning from AI fundamentals to planning, designing, and developing AI agents. It uses tools such as Dify, a no-code-based latest AI development tool. Based on this, POSCO DX plans to cultivate a large number of in-house AI agent experts.
"As AI spreads, using AI agents has become a natural trend, and going forward, efficiently using multiple agents will be the key to success or failure in AX," a POSCO DX official said. "We will strengthen company-wide AI capabilities to accelerate our transition into an AI-native company and leap forward as a leading AX company."
