Kakao (035720.KS) held the "2026 Kakao MVP Partners Day" to strengthen partnerships with suppliers and build a foundation for shared growth, the company said Tuesday.
Partners Day is an event Kakao runs to foster a healthy cooperative ecosystem based on trust with its suppliers and to promote mutual growth. Since its launch in 2009, the event has now reached its 18th edition. It was held in two sessions, on the 11th-12th and the 15th-16th of this month, at Hotel Nanta in Jeju City.
This year's event drew about 130 employees from 66 partner companies across various fields, including networks, security, software, customer service and commerce.
Participants joined a range of sessions, including training on shared growth, ESG management consulting support, procurement policy training and information on Kakao's financial support programs, and exchanged views on related cooperation measures.
Lim Woo-jin, a director at Baekji Design who attended the event, said, "Through this event, I was able to gain various insights into shared growth and sustainable management. I hope to continue a cooperative relationship in which Kakao and partner companies can grow together going forward."
Sung Kyung-sik, head of Infobip's Korea office, said, "It was a meaningful time to exchange with various partner companies and share on-the-ground experience and know-how. I hope the various programs for mutual prosperity continue to expand."
