Naver (035420.KS) is launching a location search service tailored to veterinary clinics. Through Naver Place search alone, users will be able to check a range of clinic information, including treatment categories and revisit rates by animal species.
Naver said Monday it is introducing "place+," a service specialized for the veterinary clinic sector. Place+ connects various offline information online to improve search convenience for users, while supporting business owners with integrated online-offline operations.
The veterinary clinic place+ feature links with veterinary clinic partner systems to automatically display various information in the place detail section. For example, when a user searches for a clinic with the place+ feature on Naver Place or Maps, they can see treatment-related statistics at a glance, including the most visited treatments over the past three months, the busiest days and time slots, the share of each treatment category, and revisit rates by animal species and age.
A specialized filter function is also provided, allowing users to categorize lists of clinics that meet their desired conditions in detail. The specialized filters apply to factors such as the animals treated, treatment categories and disease names, and whether additional services such as hospitalization or grooming are offered.
Veterinary clinics using place+ are also expected to benefit from natural promotional effects and an influx of new customers. In addition, if a clinic also uses a "Naver Pay (Npay) Connect" terminal, it can offer payment point rewards to visitors. Visitors can easily write reviews without receipts, and visit and usage statistics are reflected back into search results, creating a virtuous cycle.
Place+ for veterinary clinics will first be applied to clinics using "Into C&S," a veterinary clinic EMR solution. Naver plans to expand the service to clinics using other solutions.
Lee Se-hoon, Naver Place business planning leader, said, "We are introducing place+ tailored to veterinary clinics in line with the growing demand for searching in-depth clinic information." He added, "We will continue to expand coverage so that users can find the most suitable clinic for their pet's care at once through Place search alone."
