LG CNS will adopt "Claude," the AI model of global artificial intelligence (AI) company Anthropic, and expand its AI transformation (AX) business for LG Group and external companies.
LG CNS said Tuesday that it had signed a contract with Anthropic to introduce "Claude Enterprise." The contract was signed as an integrated agreement applicable to all LG Group affiliates. Accordingly, LG CNS will open Claude for use by all of its employees, and will subsequently support the entire process from adoption to utilization of Claude for LG Group affiliates and external companies.
Claude is an AI model spreading across the global market for its high reasoning capabilities, security, and performance in processing long documents. In particular, it is regarded as optimized for supporting corporate AX, with features focused on improving work efficiency such as building AI agents linked to internal corporate systems, coding, and collaboration.
LG CNS explained that, based on its years of experience in corporate system integration (SI), it is strengthening its position as a key collaboration partner with global big tech in the domestic AX market. In fact, LG CNS in February signed agreements with OpenAI as a reseller partner and enterprise AI service implementation partner, and with Google as a reseller partner for Gemini Enterprise, and is carrying out the business. In March, it signed a strategic partnership with Palantir to target the domestic enterprise AI platform market and established a dedicated organization of forward-deployed engineers (FDE). It operates a generative AI launch center with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and an MS launch center with Microsoft, supporting companies in easily adopting AI services. It is also collaborating with SAP, Dell Technologies, and Cohere.
Kim Tae-hoon, vice president and head of LG CNS's AI Cloud Business Division, said, "The collaboration with Anthropic is an important opportunity to launch an AX innovation model optimized for the domestic corporate environment," adding, "We will actively support the AX innovation of domestic corporate customers by combining LG CNS's AX capabilities with Anthropic's AI technology."
Choi Ki-young, Anthropic's first Korea country manager, said, "Through collaboration with LG CNS, we expect that domestic corporate customers will be able to apply safer and more trustworthy AI to their actual work environments," adding, "We will actively cooperate so that Claude can establish itself as an AI platform that supports corporate productivity and work innovation."
