SK AX has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mercer, a global human resources (HR) consulting firm, to jointly develop an AI-plus-human organizational operating model and build an agentic AI platform, the company said Wednesday.
Under the MOU, SK AX and Mercer will jointly build an organizational operating design and agentic AI platform for corporate AI transformation (AX). The two companies share the common goal of redesigning organizational operating methods and HR systems within companies so that AI augmentation can be realized through organic collaboration between people and AI. The two firms have joined hands to create a "harness engineering" environment in which AI and humans collaborate and AI autonomously performs tasks.
SK AX and Mercer will jointly provide: establishment of an organizational operating model for human-AI collaboration and development of AI agent solutions; building of talent recruitment, development and evaluation strategies and operating systems; and AI-based problem-solving capability diagnosis. Mercer will design organizational operating models and HR systems for each company based on its global HR consulting capabilities. SK AX will build and provide an intelligent HR platform that allows people and AI to work together in actual work environments.
The intelligent HR platform developed by SK AX includes, in addition to AI-centered organizational structure redesign, functions for talent recruitment, development, performance management and evaluation. It can be used to innovate working methods and company-wide operations based on members' capabilities and work data. SK AX also provides customized talent development programs for companies, including "AI Literacy," an AI capability diagnosis program, and "AI Bootcamp," a practical AI training program.
