Enhans, an enterprise agentic artificial intelligence (AI) startup, said Thursday it has secured strategic investment from Naver Ventures, the Silicon Valley-based corporate venture capital arm of Naver (035420.KS). Enhans develops an "industry-specialized AI OS" based on ontology technology. The company's AI OS has been adopted by more than 30 global enterprise clients, including Samsung Electronics (005930.KS), and is currently supporting field operations in over 50 countries worldwide.
Building on technology initially developed in the commerce and retail sectors, Enhans has expanded its business into manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and most recently, defense. In March, the company showcased multi-agent-based real-time collaboration at an "AI Collaboration Era" declaration event held with Go master Lee Sedol to mark the 10th anniversary of the AlphaGo match, an occasion that demonstrated Enhans' technological capabilities to industry observers at home and abroad.
With the latest investment, Enhans plans to advance its industry-specific agent models and accelerate its push into global markets. "Enhans' goal is to establish AI not as a mere tool but as an 'AI colleague' that delivers tangible results," said Lee Seung-hyun, CEO of Enhans. "Using this investment as a stepping stone, we will further advance our ontology, multi-agent, and CUA technologies to lead an automation revolution across all industrial sites."
