SOOP (067160.KQ), a Korean live streaming platform, announced on Thursday that it will be the only digital platform to broadcast the 'OGFC (The Originals FC) vs Suwon Samsung Legends' match live without delay on January 19 at Suwon World Cup Stadium.
The match will feature a showdown between OGFC, a team of legendary players, and the Suwon Samsung Legends. OGFC's roster includes Park Ji-sung, Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, and Edwin van der Sar, while Suwon Samsung Legends will field Seo Jung-won, Yeom Ki-hun, and Ko Jong-soo.
SOOP is the only digital platform offering real-time streaming without delay. Competitor YouTube will operate with a 10-minute broadcast delay. SOOP will also allow any streamer to freely co-stream the match.
On match day, a dedicated 'SOOP Zone' will be set up in sections of Suwon World Cup Stadium, enabling real-time views of activities inside and outside the venue. Streamers will conduct live broadcasts and mobile streams directly from the location.
