KT (030200.KS), a major South Korean telecommunications company, announced Sunday that it will operate special content zones on its internet protocol television service Genie TV for the Christmas and year-end holiday season.
From Monday through Saturday, the "Everyday Feels Like a Movie, Christmas – 2025 Christmas Special" zone will feature 30 films including theatrical releases and year-end highlights such as "Prince Alone," "Now You See Me 3," "First Rise" and "Can't Help It."
The platform has also curated special content categories suited for the holiday season, including the complete Harry Potter series, European art films, entertainment content featuring ocean, running and cycling themes, and music playlists for the whole family.
Genie TV's children's service Kids Land will operate a "Kids Land Christmas Free Special Zone" for eight days from Monday through December 30. The zone features content centered on 13 signature Kids Land characters.
The free offerings include 700 animated titles such as "Pororo the Movie: The Great Adventure of Snow Fairy Village," "Pinkfong Christmas Dance Time," "Baby Shark Christmas Stories" and "Bebefinn Color Play Christmas."
"We have prepared a wide lineup including new films, popular series and kids' animations so the whole family can enjoy the holiday period together," said Choi Kwang-chul, head of KT's media platform business division. "Genie TV will continue to strive to be an IPTV platform where viewers can most conveniently watch everything from the latest movies to kids' content."
