Kakaopay Securities announced Wednesday that it has partnered with US financial group Siebert to provide domestic investors with market analysis content from US-based experts.
Since December 25, Kakaopay Securities has been offering daily columns by Mark Malek, Siebert's Chief Investment Officer, translated into Korean through its investment information channel called "Ridiculously Useful Investment News."
The columns analyze the overall investment environment, including US stock markets, economic trends, and corporate earnings, and will be updated regularly four to five times per week.
Artificial intelligence technology has been applied to the translation process. An AI model performs the initial translation, followed by editors who verify the accuracy of tone and context in the final review. Kakaopay Securities plans to develop an AI agent that automates the entire translation and review process as data accumulates, improving both speed and quality of content delivery.
Siebert executives visited Korea in August to discuss building a strategic partnership with Kakaopay Securities. This collaboration is a follow-up measure that materializes those earlier discussions.
The two companies are also discussing additional content that can provide multidimensional coverage of the US market. "We will continue to expand content that can help narrow the information gap on overseas markets and serve as a reference for investment decisions," a Kakaopay Securities official said.
