AI map company Davio links indoor map data to Kakao Mobility... Advanced navigation

Dabeeo (CEO Park Ju-hum), a data intelligence company based on Vision AI (Vision AI), is expanding the smart navigation environment centered on user convenience by supplying indoor map data APIs for major department stores and shopping malls across the country to Kakao Mobility. Through this collaboration, users of the Kakao T app will be able to check the floor structure and store status of the destination in addition to the existing destination search and route guidance functions. As a result, users visiting large complex facilities such as department stores and shopping malls can directly check detailed location information within the destination within the app, and can enjoy a user experience that is smoothly connected to the route after entering the destination. Davio is leading the share of indoor map data in the domestic retail sector based on AI-based spatial information digital transformation technology and digital map solutions that maximize the efficiency of spatial data management, and is strengthening its market position as a core data supplier that provides indoor map data to Naver Maps and Kakao Map based on this. This collaboration with Kakao Mobility is significant in that it has expanded the scope of this data supply beyond a map platform to a mobility service. Beyond building digital maps, Davio provides spatial information application services such as digital signage and location-based route guidance using them.
