Adidas Golf has launched the CODECHAOS 27 spikeless golf shoe, designed to maximize both comfort and grip.
Adidas Golf held a launch event for the CODECHAOS 27 on Wednesday at the Adidas Golf GolfZon Market Apgujeong store in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The CODECHAOS series has been an innovative product that broke conventional stereotypes of golf shoes, generating buzz with each release. Since debuting in 2020 with a bold design that extended up to the ankle, new products have been released at two-year intervals, with this being the fourth-generation version.
According to the company, the CODECHAOS 27 is built on a design that maximizes comfort while offering powerful grip and stability, delivering top performance across diverse course environments. The newly introduced AXISLOCK technology is a cage-shaped stabilization system organically connected from the sides to the bottom of the shoe. It firmly holds the heel and effectively suppresses lateral wobbling and twisting of the foot during swings and walking. In addition, a full-length Boost midsole is applied to provide both superior cushioning and comfort.
"Compared to the previous model, we expanded the grip area of the Twist Grip outsole by approximately 120%," a company official said. "We strategically placed four types of lugs to provide outstanding grip and stable movement in field environments."
The launch event, which was open to the general public as well as the media, was attended by Adidas Golf golf shoe-sponsored players Park Sung-hyun, Kim Min-sun, Ma Da-som, Park Ye-ji, Lee Jun-seok and Yoo Hyun-joo, along with brand ambassadors actors Lee Sung-min and Bae Jung-nam. Player Yoo Hyun-joo shared her actual experience, saying, "Thanks to the cool design, I liked it from the first impression," adding, "The grip is tremendous during the swing, but it's comfortable when walking."
