
Jung Jo-kook (Kyunggu High School) and Park Seo-jin (Seomun Girls' High School) claimed the men's and women's titles at the 10th Bear Creek Cup Amateur Golf Championship.
Jung shot a 7-under-par 65 in the men's fourth round held Sunday at Bear Creek Pocheon, Bear Course (par 72) in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, finishing with a total of 11-under-par 277. He edged out Kang Seung-gu (9-under-par 279, Namsung High School) by two strokes to take the trophy.
In the women's division, Park finished with a total of 14-under-par 274, tying with Lee Si-eun before winning in a playoff. Park sank a birdie on the sixth playoff hole, played at the 18th hole (par 4), to defeat Lee, who settled for par.
Park, who was selected in May as a national team member for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, said, "I will do my best to win medals in both the individual and team events at the Asian Games."
