The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour's Lotte Open, with total prize money of 1.2 billion won, will be held for four days starting Wednesday at BearsBest Cheongna Golf Club in Incheon. Top players from home and abroad will once again gather to compete fiercely for the "Lotte World Tower Trophy."
The 18th hole, previously a signature space, will be operated as the further evolved "Lotte Pleasure Stadium." According to the organizers, the stadium-style gallery viewing structure and LED video system will provide an overwhelming sense of immersion.
On Tuesday, a day before the tournament's opening, a one-point lesson event was held bringing together players from the Lotte golf team and youth participants. Choi Hye-jin (left) is explaining the swing to an aspiring golfer. Photo provided by the tournament organizing committee.
