
Olympic CC said Sunday it will offer free meals to all visitors to the golf course on June 30 to celebrate Park Hyun-kyung's victory at the Earth Mondamin Cup on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour.
According to Olympic CC, the event was arranged to congratulate Park, nicknamed "Cutieful," who has recorded eight career wins on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, for her win at the Earth Mondamin Cup, the JLPGA Tour event with the largest prize money.
Olympic CC has maintained a long relationship with the golf team of Korea National Sport University, providing its course free of charge for training so that players can sharpen their competitive skills and take on bigger stages.
The club has held an annual Hanmaeum Golf Tournament together with Korea National Sport University, creating a venue for players, the golf course and customers to interact. Such support and encouragement have become a foundation for the growth of players who will lead the future of Korean women's golf.
Olympic CC has supported the growth and performance of Korean women's golfers and has worked to spread golf culture alongside news of domestic players' victories.
The club has also unveiled Korea's first golf residence, The Community A, proposing golf not merely as a sport but as a new lifestyle that combines rest, exchange and daily living.
