SmileSquare, a sports platform company, has partnered with IT specialist Cellvic to make a full-scale push into the education and public markets with its screen park golf brand MyPark.
SmileSquare said Wednesday that it signed a business agreement with Cellvic on the 19th of this month, combining its screen sports platform technology with Cellvic's public market network to expand its business into public sectors such as schools, local governments, and welfare facilities.
Through the agreement, the two companies plan to pursue the expansion of the MyPark business, a joint MyVIEW platform venture, the development of a youth park golf program, entry into public markets including schools, education offices, and local governments, and joint marketing and experience events.
SmileSquare will handle MyPark platform supply, technical support, and content development, while Cellvic will support the development of new markets based on its public market network and business development capabilities. In particular, the companies plan to improve the operational efficiency and profitability of MyPark franchises nationwide through the store management platform "MyVIEW." The two companies will also jointly review youth education programs, experience events, competition operations, and content development in connection with organizations such as the Korea Youth Park Golf Association.
"This is a turning point as MyPark expands beyond the private market into the education and public markets," said Kim In-soo, CEO of SmileSquare. "We will grow into a digital sports platform company through nationwide business expansion and the development of new service models."
"This goes beyond simple product cooperation and serves as a starting point for expanding the park golf market and discovering new business models," said Lee Sang-no, CEO of Cellvic. "We will create new opportunities in various areas."
