Seo Kyo-rim, who won twice in the past two weeks on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, has sharply lifted her women's golf world ranking.
According to the women's golf world rankings released Monday, Seo earned an average of 2.0 points to rank 45th, climbing 21 spots from 66th the previous week. Seo, who recorded her first career victory at the Celltrion Queens Masters on June 7, rode a fearsome surge by also winning the Inca Financial The Heaven Masters, which ended Saturday, two weeks later. Among Korean players, Seo's ranking is third, behind Kim Min-sol (19th) and Yoo Hyun-jo (43rd).
The world's top three rankings—Nelly Korda (United States), Jeeno Thitikul (Thailand), and Kim Hyo-joo—remained unchanged from the previous week. Yamashita Miyu (Japan), who won the Meijer LPGA Classic on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, moved up one spot to seventh. Kim Sei-young was 10th, the same as the previous week. Yoo Hae-ran was 12th, and Choi Hye-jin was 17th.
