Martincarat, a park golf brand, arranged an event to express gratitude to national merit recipients and their bereaved families on Memorial Day.
Martincarat said Saturday that it held the "5th Martincarat Cup Buyeo Park Golf Tournament" at Baengma River Park Golf Course in Buyeo, South Chungcheong Province, on the 6th. The tournament was organized as an occasion for park golf enthusiasts from across the country to compete and exchange with one another.
The tournament added meaning by holding a program to honor national merit recipients and their bereaved families. Martincarat presented special commemorative gifts to the recipients and bereaved families at the venue, and awarded a certificate of appreciation to a representative of the national merit recipients at the opening ceremony.
"It was meaningful to be able to express our gratitude to the national merit recipients and bereaved families at a gathering where local residents and park golf enthusiasts came together," a Martincarat official said. "We plan to continue developing park golf tournaments not as mere sporting events, but as venues for communication that share meaning with the local community."
