
Jin Kyung-seok, former head coach of the Wonju DB Promy, has signed an advisory contract with sports specialist firm Key Player Agency (KPA).
Key Player Agency said, "Based on the rich coaching experience and on-court know-how that Coach Jin possesses, he will provide professional advice across various areas including players' free agent (FA) transfers, career paths, and career consulting." The agency added, "He will also cooperate closely in agency operations and player management."
Jin is a coach who has experienced both the Korean Basketball League (KBL) and the Women's Korean Basketball League (WKBL). He debuted in the KBL through the 2002 draft, and after retiring, he worked as a coach at the Cheongju KB Stars in the WKBL and the Wonju DB Promy. He served as head coach at the Cheongju KB Stars for 10 years starting in 2015, and later took on the role of head coach of the Wonju DB Promy (2025-2026).
Jin, who has joined Key Player Agency as an advisor, said, "I find it meaningful to take on a new role that can help both players and coaches." He added, "Based on the experience I have built up on the court, I will do my best to help players grow and develop."
Key Player Agency's roster includes Heo Woong, Lee Seung-hyun, Kang Yi-seul, Lee Woo-seok, Shin Ji-hyun, and Owner (Moon Hyun-jun). Han Jung-mu, CEO of Key Player Agency, stressed, "We expect Coach Jin's rich on-court experience to be a great help to our players," adding, "We will spare no support so that he can demonstrate his abilities on a bigger stage as a head coach and mentor in the future."
