Autoflex putter shafts are set to hit the market. Dumina, renowned for its Korean-made shafts, is expanding into the putter shaft segment after establishing itself in driver and iron shafts.
"We will launch two putter shaft models, Autoflex and Flex One, within this month. Both weigh 110 grams and measure 34 inches in length," Dumina said on Wednesday. A Dumina official explained, "We applied a cloud pattern inspired by traditional Korean motifs over a vivid hot pink body," adding, "A shaft is not merely a functional component but another design item that completes a golfer's style."
Autoflex gained significant popularity in global markets, including North America, immediately after its launch in 2021. The brand sparked a trend on the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour, primarily through its driver shafts. In Korea as well, it spread by word of mouth as a groundbreaking product that is soft and easy to hit while ensuring both distance and accuracy.
"We developed this product in response to golfers' demand for a putter shaft to complement our drivers and irons," Dumina Chairman Park Gun-yul said. "I can confidently say it guarantees comfort at address and straight ball roll."
Dumina is also running a promotion in which customers who purchase the limited-edition Autoflex driver shaft, capped at 2,026 units, will receive one of the two putter shaft models for free.
