Screen park golf brand MyPark has launched a partnership with local institutions and organizations to revitalize traditional markets in Hongcheon County, Gangwon Province.
MyPark announced Wednesday that it signed a business agreement on December 23 with the Korean Senior Citizens Association's Hongcheon County branch, the Hongcheon Central Market Merchants Association, the Hongcheon County Park Golf Club Jang Jung-woo Association, and Gangwon-based local company Three P.O. to revitalize markets in Hongcheon County.
The agreement was launched to attract more visitors to traditional markets by integrating recreational sports content, while expanding leisure opportunities for local residents. The participating organizations plan to cooperate around the park golf space built on the rooftop of Hongcheon Central Market, focusing on market revitalization, broadening the base for recreational sports, and promoting leisure culture for seniors.
The Sky Park Golf Course features MyPark's screen park golf system "All-in-One Park Golf." According to MyPark, the model can be installed without large-scale interior construction, making it suitable for utilizing unused spaces such as traditional market rooftops.
The Hongcheon Central Market Sky Park Golf Course plans to operate experience programs and events for local residents and tourists going forward. "We will continue to spread a park golf culture that anyone can easily enjoy through cooperation with local institutions and organizations, and continue to create cases that contribute to revitalizing the local economy," a MyPark official said.
