The Genesis Invitational will tee off on February 18 and The CJ Cup Byron Nelson on April 29 next year, all dates local time.
As the 2027 PGA Tour schedule gradually takes shape, the dates for two tournaments hosted by Korean companies have also been confirmed.
The Genesis Invitational will be held February 18-21, following the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Phoenix Open. This year the tournament was held after the Phoenix Open and the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but next year the immediately preceding event will change to the Phoenix Open.
The CJ Cup, which drew 240,000 spectators over five days and concluded on May 24 this year, will be held nearly a month earlier next year, from April 29 to May 2. The shift is due to the impact of the PGA Championship, a major tournament. The PGA Championship, which was held in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, one week before The CJ Cup this year, will move to Frisco, Texas, next year. This would have resulted in three consecutive weeks of tournaments in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, including The CJ Cup, prompting the schedule adjustment.
Next year, the order will be The CJ Cup, the Valspar Championship, the Truist Championship, and then the PGA Championship. The Masters, the season's first major, will be held April 8-11, followed by the RBC Heritage, the Zurich Classic, and then The CJ Cup.
