Kakao VX announced Wednesday that it has completed renovation work and begun consignment operation of The Vaughn GC, a golf course located in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
The Vaughn GC, opened in 2007, is a 9-hole public golf course owned by Myungmoon Investment & Development, a subsidiary of Myungmoon Pharma. Its key strength is accessibility, located just 50 minutes by car from Seoul.
Kakao VX has previously operated Seragio GC (now The Siena Velluto CC) in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, and Aegis Sky GC in Gunwi, Daegu, on a consignment basis. The latest renovation upgraded The Vaughn GC's clubhouse and course lighting.
"The golf course industry is witnessing how much a course's value can rise through the integration of Kakao VX's tech-driven management," a Kakao VX official said.
