"There was nothing I could do against a player shooting 11-under," Kim Si-woo said after losing the come-from-behind victory to Wyndham Clark of the United States on the final day of the PGA Tour's CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
In the final round held Sunday (Korea time) at TPC Craig Ranch (par 71) in McKinney, Texas, Kim carded seven birdies and one bogey for a 6-under 65. He finished the tournament at 27-under 257, his lowest 72-hole score, but the title went to Clark, who fired an 11-under 60 to finish at 30-under 254.

Kim missed out on the win despite producing his best golf because the course played that easy. Just how easy it was can be seen in the 18-hole scores from the tournament.
Two players shot 60 at this tournament: Clark on the final day and Kim in the second round. With both rounds of 60, the number of players with this season's lowest score of 60 grew to four.
Two players also shot a 10-under 61. Im Sung-jae, who tied for ninth at 19-under 265, and American Jackson Suber, who finished alone in fourth at 23-under 261, both shot 61 in the second round. No player had shot 61 this season before the tournament, but at its conclusion two players were tied for fifth on the season's lowest scores at 61.

Four players carded 62 at this tournament. Jordan Spieth, Tom Hoge, Taylor Moore, and Max Greyserman, all from the United States, shot 62, raising the season's count of 62 rounds to 15 players.
As many as eight players shot an 8-under 63 at this tournament. Champion Clark and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler of the United States, who finished alone in third at 25-under 259, were among the eight. The total number of players who have shot 63 this year rose to 40, with 20 percent coming from the CJ Cup.

The tournament played second-easiest this year after the CJ Cup was The American Express, where two players shot 60. The winner of that tournament was Scheffler. Interestingly, Scheffler's winning score at the time was 27-under (261 on a par-72 course), the same score Kim shot at this tournament.
