Lee Seung-min, a professional golfer with developmental disabilities, won the G4D Open to complete a career grand slam by capturing all three major championships in disabled golf.
Lee shot a 1-over-par 71 in the final third round of the tournament held at the Roman Road Course (par 70) of Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, U.K., on Thursday (local time). With a final total of 3-over-par 213, Lee edged out runner-up Issa Nlareb Amang of Cameroon by one stroke.
The G4D Open is co-hosted by the R&A of the U.K. and the DP World Tour. Together with the US Adaptive Open and the Australian All Abilities Championship, it is regarded as one of the three majors in disabled golf. Lee had previously won the US Adaptive Open in 2022 and the Australian All Abilities Championship in 2025.
Ranked No. 2 in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD), Lee had been unable to compete in the G4D Open due to his domestic tournament schedule but lifted the trophy in his first appearance.
"I was very pleased to be able to compete in this tournament, which featured many great players, and it is a great honor to win on such a difficult course," Lee said after his victory.
Lee has faced difficulties in communication and social interaction due to autism spectrum disorder but has connected with the world through golf. Beginning with the DB Insurance Promy Open in 2017, he has consistently competed in regular Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour events, broadening awareness of disabled golf.
