Paris Saint-Germain, the club of South Korean national team midfielder Lee Kang-in, has clinched its fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title.
PSG defeated RC Lens 2-0 in a Round 33 away match of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season at Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens, France, on Saturday local time.
The win extended PSG's lead over second-placed Lens (67 points) to nine points, securing the championship with one match remaining. PSG (76 points) claimed its 14th Ligue 1 title overall and fifth in a row.
Lee missed the match due to a left ankle injury but celebrated his third Ligue 1 title since joining PSG.
Despite the absence of key players including Lee, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes and Warren Zaire-Emery, PSG comfortably dispatched Lens.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring in the 29th minute, converting a pass from Ousmane Dembele with a powerful right-footed strike.
In stoppage time of the second half, 18-year-old prospect Ibrahim Mbaye sealed the win with a long-range shot.
PSG will take on Arsenal of England at Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary, at 1 a.m. on the 31st, aiming for back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles.
