AGL, the operator of global golf travel platform Tiger Booking, announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Mexico's Los Cabos Tourism Board to expand the premium golf travel market.
AGL signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Los Cabos Tourism Board on Nov. 14 at AGL's headquarters in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to promote golf tourism in Los Cabos. Kim Hyun-soon, vice president of AGL, and Rodrigo Esponda, director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board, along with other key officials from both sides, attended the signing ceremony.
The agreement is part of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of golf travel products in the Los Cabos region through AGL's Tiger Booking platform and expanding global market demand, the company said.
Tiger Booking is a global golf travel platform that connects golf courses and resorts worldwide with golfers by collaborating with Google and iOS map platforms, supporting real-time reservations and travel product distribution services. The partnership is expected to further enhance the global accessibility and market competitiveness of Los Cabos golf travel products.
Los Cabos, Mexico's premier luxury resort destination, is drawing attention from tourists around the world thanks to its distinctive natural environment combining beaches, desert and ocean. With five-star all-inclusive resorts clustered along its coastline, it is regarded as an ideal destination offering both relaxation and leisure at the same time.
For golfers who prefer premium rounds, Los Cabos is an even more attractive destination. The region is home to several prestigious courses ranked among the world's top 100, including Quivira Golf Club, Diamante Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club, and has gained attention as a bucket-list golf destination where players can experience courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

AGL currently operates premium package products that allow customers to enjoy golf, relaxation and various activities together at five-star all-inclusive resorts in the Los Cabos region. Customers can experience high-quality golf rounds, resort accommodations, fine dining and marine activities all at once.
Through the partnership, AGL plans to expand its product lineup with the official support of the Los Cabos Tourism Board and enhance the customer experience by strengthening local-linked benefits and differentiated content. The company also aims to develop Los Cabos into a next-generation premium golf destination on par with world-renowned courses such as Pebble Beach Golf Links and leading European golf destinations including Northern Ireland.
"Los Cabos is an ideal golf destination equipped with both world-class golf courses and resort infrastructure," AGL CEO Jim Hwang said. "Through this partnership, we will continue to present differentiated products so that more global golfers can experience high-quality golf and relaxation at the same time."
"Demand for premium golf travel is rapidly increasing in global markets, including Korea," an official from the Los Cabos Tourism Board said. "We expect to be able to introduce the charms of Los Cabos to more customers through our cooperation with AGL."
