World No. 1 Nelly Korda of the United States captured her third LPGA Tour title of the 2026 season.
Korda shot a 3-under-par 69 in the final round Sunday at El Camaleon Golf Course (par 72) in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, recording one eagle, two birdies and one bogey at the LPGA Tour's Riviera Maya Open, which carried a total purse of $2.5 million. Finishing at 17-under 271, Korda beat Thailand's Arpichaya Yubol, who posted 13-under, to claim her third trophy of the season. She earned $375,000 (550 million won) in prize money.
Korda, who won the season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in January, captured back-to-back titles following last week's major, the Chevron Championship, becoming the first player to reach three wins this season.
Korda, who made her LPGA Tour debut in 2017, also extended her career total to 18 victories.
"I played a clean round, but the last hole kept me humble," Korda said in a post-victory broadcast interview. "We all put in the same effort, but golf is unpredictable."
Among Korean players, Joo Soo-bin posted the best result, finishing alone in eighth at 6-under. Joo, who debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2023, recorded her second career top-10 finish.
This season's rookie Hwang Yu-min closed the tournament tied for 20th at 3-under.
