World No. 1 Nelly Korda of the United States extended her lead after the third round of the LPGA Tour's Riviera Maya Open (total purse $2.5 million), putting her on the verge of a second consecutive victory.
Korda shot a bogey-free 5-under 67 in the third round at El Camaleon Golf Course (par 72) in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, on Sunday, local time, carding one eagle and three birdies.
With a 54-hole total of 14-under 202, Korda holds a three-stroke lead over second-place Arpichaya Yubol of Thailand, who stands at 11-under 205.
Having lifted the trophy at last week's Chevron Championship, the season's first major, Korda is aiming for back-to-back wins at this event.
A victory here would make her the first player on the LPGA Tour this season to record three wins.
Korda won the season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in late January and added the Chevron Championship title.
Minami Katsu of Japan sits alone in third place at 10-under, while Ruixin Liu of China and Brianna Do of the United States are tied for fourth at 9-under.
Among Korean players, Joo Soo-bin holds the highest position, tied for 10th at 4-under.
Joo is chasing her second career top-10 finish, following a tie for sixth at the ShopRite Classic in June 2023.
Rookie Hwang Yu-min finished the third round at even par, tied for 28th.
