DB Group will host the inaugural DB Women's Championship, with a total prize purse of 1.2 billion won ($880,000), for four days from April 30 to May 3 at Rainbow Hills Country Club in Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province.
DB Group has successfully served as the title sponsor of the Korea Women's Open for five years from 2021 to 2025. Starting this year, the group is launching the DB Women's Championship as a new title event together with the KLPGA Tour, continuing its sponsorship of Korean women's golf.
The group plans to build a new tournament identity by carrying on the tradition of the Korea Women's Open while incorporating innovative fan experiences and a differentiated tournament culture.
The venue is Rainbow Hills Country Club, the same course that hosted the Korea Women's Open. A natural grass driving range will be set up on the West Course, which is not being used for the tournament, to provide participating players with an optimal practice environment.
