The Hanwha Eagles ended their home losing streak.
Hanwha defeated the NC Dinos 8-1 in a 2026 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League home game at Hanwha Life Ballpark in Daejeon on Tuesday, powered by Kang Baek-ho's three-hit, five-RBI performance. The win pulled Hanwha out of a 10-game home losing streak that had dragged on since March 31.
In the bottom of the first inning, Hanwha took a 2-0 lead when Kang drove in two runs with a single up the middle, following a hit by Hwang Young-muk and a double by Noh Si-hwan that put runners on second and third with two outs. NC pulled one run back in the top of the second, but Hanwha extended the lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run homer by Yonathan Perazza followed by a two-RBI double from Kang. Hanwha sealed the game in the seventh, adding two more runs on an opponent's error and another RBI hit by Kang.
Hanwha starter Wikel Hernandez gave up eight hits through seven innings but held NC to one run with four strikeouts to pick up the win.
