Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Nantes to surge ahead at the top of France's Ligue 1, while Lee Kang-in remained on the bench.
PSG won 3-0 against Nantes in a rescheduled Round 26 match of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, held at the Parc des Princes in Paris on the 23rd (Korea time). The match had originally been scheduled for last month but was postponed at PSG's request after the club advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League. With the victory, PSG improved to 66 points (21 wins, 3 draws, 5 losses), widening the gap over second-place Lens (62 points) to four points.
Lee Kang-in was named among the substitutes but did not see any playing time. Lee last started in a Ligue 1 match against Toulouse on the 4th. Since then, he has appeared in only two of the club's last four matches, both as second-half substitutes.
PSG opened the scoring in the 13th minute when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia converted a penalty kick awarded after a handball by the opposition. Desire Doue added a goal in the 37th minute, and Kvaratskhelia struck again in the fifth minute of the second half to seal the 3-0 victory.
