The top four money winners on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour last year were Hong Jeong-min in first, Noh Seung-hee in second, Yoo Hyun-jo in third, and Bang Shin-sil in fourth.
Only two events have been played this season, yet Hong Jeong-min is the only member of that quartet currently inside the top 10 on the money list, sitting in eighth place.
The other three have struggled to find form. Yoo Hyun-jo ranks 29th in prize money, while Noh Seung-hee sits 70th. Bang Shin-sil does not even appear on the rankings after entering one event and missing the cut. Other top-ranked players have also failed to make their presence felt: Kim Min-sol is 30th on the money list, Kim Su-ji 33rd, Jeong Yun-ji 34th, Park Hyun-kyung 46th, Kim Min-byeol 75th, and Bae So-hyun 84th.
