
Korean women golfers had placed at least one player in the top 10 at every LPGA Tour event this year, from the season opener through the Ford Championship — a streak spanning six tournaments. It started with five players in the top 10 at the opener, followed by six at the Honda LPGA Thailand, one at the HSBC Women's World Championship, three at the Blue Bay LPGA, and four at the Fortinet Founders Cup. At the Ford Championship, three Koreans made the top 10, including Kim Hyo-joo's victory, Jeon In-ji's solo fifth place, and Yun I-na's tied sixth.
