Kim Hyo-joo and Nelly Korda of the United States developed a love-hate relationship over their last two tournaments. While both players admired each other's play, their feelings could not have been the same — Kim won both times, and Korda lost. Korda, in particular, expressed relief after five consecutive rounds together, saying, "I'm finally done playing with Kim Hyo-joo."
True to Korda's words, the duo's pairing has finally come to an end. The two players were placed in different groups for the first round of the LPGA Tour Aramco Championship, to be held on Friday (local time) at Shadow Creek Golf Course (par 72) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
