Ping Golf has unveiled its 2026 G440 K, completing the full lineup of the G440 series. The most distinctive feature separating the G440 K driver from other models in the series is its dual carbon flyrap structure. Carbon material is applied to the sole in addition to the crown, making the sole approximately 7% lighter than the previous model. This allowed the center of gravity to be positioned lower and deeper. The G440 K delivers the highest moment of inertia (MOI) performance in the series.
Another technology supporting the low center of gravity design is the free-hosel design. The free-hosel is a core technology of the G440 driver that removes material from the middle of the hosel connection to reduce weight, then redistributes the saved weight to lower the center of gravity. The sweet area extends further toward the heel, delivering high forgiveness and fast ball speed. This ultimately produces optimal spin and a higher launch angle, resulting in longer distance and more stable directional control.
Impact feel has also improved. The composite crown bridge attached to the crown and sole of the G440 K driver, along with the sole's sound rib, enhances the sound at impact, producing a more solid and crisp acoustic feedback. This rib structure reinforces the crown and sole at the moment of impact, reducing unnecessary vibration and delivering a more satisfying feel.
The G440 K also introduces a new 32-gram adjustable back weight that can be moved to neutral, draw, or fade positions for fine-tuned shot shape control. Alongside the new G440 K (forgiveness) driver, Ping has expanded its options with the G440 LST (low spin for advanced players), G440 MAX (standard), and G440 SFT (slice-fix technology), broadening the range of choices for golfers. All heads except the LST are also available in an ultra-lightweight HL (senior) model.
