Five years ago, golf legend Tiger Woods narrowly escaped death in a car crash. On February 23, 2021, his vehicle struck a median on a four-lane road near Los Angeles, California, rolling multiple times before tumbling off the roadway. He suffered compound fractures to his right tibia and fibula but survived.
Woods said in an interview at the time that he owed his life to the Genesis GV80 he was driving. "I was at risk of losing my leg, but I was lucky just to be alive," he said, indirectly expressing gratitude for the vehicle's safety features.
