Starting this season, viewers of Korean professional golf tour broadcasts will be able to check players' TrackMan data in real time. The move brings the same immersive viewing experience found in PGA Tour broadcasts, the world's premier stage for professional golf.
According to the golf industry on the 29th, TrackMan, the Denmark-based global leader in launch monitors — devices that display various shot data — recently signed a partnership with SBS Golf, which handles domestic tour broadcasts, to display TrackMan data on screen from the new season. TrackMan Mini units will be deployed at Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) and Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) tour events. The devices are mounted below broadcast cameras, the same method used on the PGA and Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tours.
The KLPGA tour will begin TrackMan broadcasts starting with The Siena Open 2026, the season's second event and domestic opener, which tees off April 2 at The Siena Belluto Country Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. The KPGA tour will launch TrackMan coverage from the season opener, the DB Insurance Promi Open, starting April 16 at Laviebelle Golf & Resort Old Course in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
