The Professional Billiards Association (PBA) is accepting priority registration applications through July 6 for outstanding domestic and international players to compete in the 2026-2027 season men's and women's first-division tours (PBA and LPBA).
The PBA's Game Operations Committee will evaluate applicants based on a comprehensive assessment of their performance records in domestic and international tournaments, among other factors. Successful candidates will earn eligibility to register as first-division tour players for the upcoming season.
The priority registration system was established to recruit top three-cushion billiards players. Most of the sport's marquee stars — including Cho Jae-ho (NH NongHyup Card), Choi Sung-won (Huons), Daniel Sanchez (Spain, Welcome Savings Bank), Sruong Pheavy (Cambodia, Woori Financial Capital) and Kim Min-a (NH NongHyup Card) — entered the professional stage through this system. In the 2025-2026 season, Kim Jun-tae (Harim), Park Jung-hyun (Harim) and Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi (Vietnam, SY) made their debuts via priority registration.

Starting with the priority registration selection process, the PBA is preparing for the new season with events including the Cue School promotion tournament and tryouts for first-division advancement.
