The Korea Professional Football League announced Wednesday that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) for the 2026 K League season.
The deal builds on a partnership between the two sides dating back to 2023. FedEx sponsored six K League 1 clubs in 2023 and four clubs in both 2024 and 2025.
In 2024, FedEx also donated 40 million won to K League Assist, the league's social contribution foundation, to support safety improvements at football stadiums.
Starting this year, a new program called "FedEx Delivery of the Month" will be introduced. From March through October, a "Best 3" list of assists will be selected each month from K League 1 and K League 2 matches, with fan voting determining one final winner per league. The selected player will receive prize money of 1 million won and a commemorative trophy.
"It is very meaningful to continue our collaboration for a fourth consecutive year, and the expansion to an official sponsorship allows us to reach more fans and customers nationwide," said Park Won-bin, president of FedEx Korea. "We hope the newly introduced 'FedEx Delivery of the Month' will offer fans an enjoyable viewing experience, and we will continue to strengthen our cooperation with K League to expand our social contributions to local communities."
Cho Yeon-sang, secretary general of the league, said, "We are very pleased to continue our collaboration with FedEx. We will keep expanding various fan-participatory content, including the 'FedEx Delivery of the Month.'"
FedEx will also continue its stadium safety campaign this year at Anyang Sports Complex and Incheon Football Stadium. The campaign aims to promote a safe spectator culture by actively informing fans about emergency evacuation routes and safety guidelines.
