Striker Klimala, who scored a brace to lead FC Seoul to a dominant victory, has been named the Round 5 Most Valuable Player (MVP) of K League 1.
The Korea Professional Football League announced on April 24 that Klimala was selected as the Round 5 MVP.
In the match against Gwangju FC at Seoul World Cup Stadium on April 22, Klimala netted two goals, helping his team secure a 5-0 rout and achieve a historic first-ever four consecutive wins from the start of a season since the club's founding.
FC Seoul's rookie Son Jeong-beom opened the scoring with a debut goal off a header pass from Babec. Klimala extended the lead in the 47th minute, followed by Ross in the 59th minute. Klimala then added another goal in the 73rd minute, and Lee Seung-mo capped the 5-0 victory with a goal in the 82nd minute.
The match was selected as the Round's Best Match, and FC Seoul was named the Round 5 Best Team.
Klimala was named to the Round 5 Best XI in the forward category alongside Mugosa (Incheon) and Lee Dong-jun (Jeonbuk).
