The Korea Pro Park Golf Association has launched collaborative efforts for the systematic growth of the park golf industry.
The Korea Pro Park Golf Association announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement on the 18th at Sports Korea Lab in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, to promote park golf industry development and establish a cooperative partnership system. Five organizations and companies participated in the agreement: the Korea E-Park Golf Association, the Korea Park Golf Professional Instructor Association, the Korea Golf Fitting Association, K Park Golf, and Zero Fitter.
The agreement was established to expand park golf beyond the scope of recreational sports into an industrial ecosystem where education, technology, equipment, fitting, content, platforms, and tournament operations are organically connected. Participating organizations and companies agreed to build close cooperative frameworks based on their respective expertise and create a foundation for sustainable growth of the domestic park golf industry.
The participating organizations and companies plan to expand cooperation in various areas, including joint project development, policy and institutional coordination, educational program development, technological collaboration, industry promotion, and tournament operations.
The Korea Pro Park Golf Association will serve as the central body leading the overall direction and credibility of the industry. The Korea E-Park Golf Association will handle digital-based sports culture expansion and system development, while the Korea Park Golf Professional Instructor Association will oversee instructor training and educational system establishment. The Korea Golf Fitting Association plans to strengthen expertise through equipment suitability assessment and fitting culture promotion. K Park Golf and Zero Fitter will contribute to building the industrial ecosystem through field execution capabilities and technology-based commercialization.
Lee Jeong-gil, President of the Korea Pro Park Golf Association, said, "This agreement is a starting point for developing park golf into a more professional and systematic industrial domain," adding, "We will create a new growth model by combining the strengths of each organization and company."
