The Jeonnam Park Golf Association is launching the first digital transformation of park golf operations among local governments and regional associations nationwide.
The association announced on the 20th that it signed a business agreement with PixelSoftware, a golf course IT specialist, on the 18th at its office in Mokpo Science University for "digital transformation and fair, transparent operation of park golf."
The agreement was pursued to overcome limitations of the first-come-first-served reservation system, long criticized as a chronic problem in park golf course operations. Most facilities have relied on basic registration-level reservation systems, leading to persistent conflicts and complaints including unequal access to playing opportunities, server crashes, and reservation chaos.
To address these issues, the association is introducing "Voice Park," an AI-integrated park golf course management platform. Voice Park provides a unified management system covering reservations, payments, scoring, and membership management. The platform features an intuitive conversational user interface designed for senior users, lowering barriers for digitally vulnerable groups.
Both parties plan to debut the system at a national park golf tournament in June. Starting in the second half of the year, they will expand the system across Jeonnam Province to establish transparent and fair usage practices.
"It is meaningful that we can resolve the inconveniences and conflicts from first-come-first-served reservations that tens of thousands of members have experienced through this innovative platform," said Park Kyung-rae, chairman of the Jeonnam Park Golf Association. "Jeonnam will be the first to establish an advanced park golf culture."
Kang Sung-moo, CEO of PixelSoftware, said, "Voice Park will lead the popularization of park golf by combining with Jeonnam's excellent infrastructure. We will work closely together for the successful operation of the June national tournament and expansion across the province."
