Jang Woo-jin (SeAh), the 2025 season King of Kings champion, advanced to the quarterfinals of the men's singles at the first tournament of the pro table tennis league this season.
On January 19 at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium, Jang defeated Cho Dae-sung (Hwaseong City Corporation) 3-0 (11-6, 11-3, 11-9) in the round of 16 of the 2026 Dunamu Pro League Series 1 men's singles.
Jang, who swept Series 2 and the Finals last season, dominated against Cho, who made his pro league debut this season. After taking the first game 11-6, Jang maintained constant pressure on Cho throughout the second game to claim victory.
In the third game, Jang briefly faced a challenge from Cho's counterattack but ultimately won 11-9 to advance to the quarterfinals.
