Hong Jung-min has overtaken Yoo Hyun-jo to claim the top position in the K-Ranking this week, marking her first time at the summit of Korean women's professional golf.

The shift in the KLPGA Tour's proprietary ranking system mirrored changes in the world rankings, where Hong rose from 46th to 44th while Yoo dropped three spots from 43rd to 46th. The reversal came after Hong tied for third place at the Rejuran Championship, the KLPGA season opener, while Yoo finished in a tie for 37th.
