The Korea Golf Range Association announced on the 18th that it held its 2026 general meeting at the Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 17th and confirmed the reelection of Chairman Yoon Hong-beom.
Chairman Yoon, who first took office as the 7th chairman in 2014, will now lead the association as its 10th chairman, following his 8th and 9th terms. His term is four years.
During his tenure, Chairman Yoon has worked to popularize golf and expand its base by operating the "Visiting Youth Golf Class" program in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. He also achieved results through collaboration with the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), including the excellent golf range certification program and lesson pro job placement services.
"A fourth consecutive term is personally a great burden, and I feel humble about it, but I could not turn away from the requests of our member companies during this difficult time for the industry," Chairman Yoon said. "I will pursue various initiatives to protect member companies' interests and strengthen the competitiveness of the golf range industry."
