
Yoon Young-dal, chairman of Crown Haitai Confectionery, has been elected as the third president of the Professional Billiards Association (PBA).
The PBA announced on the 18th that its board of directors appointed Chairman Yoon, 81, as the new president. His term will run for three years until March 2029.
Yoon has demonstrated a strong passion for billiards since the early days of professional billiards, founding and operating the professional billiards team "Crown Haitai Raon." The PBA explained the selection, stating, "President Yoon, who possesses both corporate management expertise and a deep understanding of billiards, is the right person to lead the stable growth and advancement of professional billiards."
Yoon has also been active as a cultural and arts patron, having served as chairman of the Korea Mecenat Association. He plans to focus on expanding the professional billiards fan base, strengthening global competitiveness, and increasing international exchanges.
Kim Young-soo, who served as the first and second PBA president and established the foundation for professional billiards, is stepping down from his position. The inauguration ceremony for the new president will be held on the 10th of next month at the PBA Stadium in Kintex, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
