Lim Jin-young, winner of the KLPGA Tour 2026 season opener, has climbed to 149th in the world rankings. According to the women's golf world rankings released on March 16 (local time), Lim rose 94 spots from 243rd last week to 149th.
Lim claimed her first career regular tour victory at the KLPGA Tour Rejuran Championship, which concluded on March 15 in Chonburi, Thailand. Lee Jeong-eun, who won the IOA Golf Classic on the Epson Tour—the LPGA's developmental circuit—jumped 61 spots from 357th last week to 296th. Lee delivered her first victory on U.S. soil in nearly seven years since winning the 2019 US Women's Open major championship.
The top of the rankings remained unchanged, with Jeeno Thitikul (Thailand), Nelly Korda (USA), Charley Hull (England), Minjee Lee (Australia), and Miyuu Yamashita (Japan) holding positions 1 through 5. Among Korean players, Kim Hyo-joo ranked 8th and Kim Sei-young 10th.
In the men's golf world rankings, Cameron Young (USA), who won the PGA Tour Players Championship, surged from 15th to 4th.
Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Tommy Fleetwood (England) maintained their positions at 1st through 3rd. Bryson DeChambeau (USA), winner of LIV Golf Singapore, climbed from 41st to 33rd. Korean-Canadian player John Lee, who finished runner-up at LIV Golf Singapore, jumped from 210th to 148th. Among Korean players, Kim Si-woo ranked 28th and Im Sung-jae 82nd.
